Air bricks are one of the most common entry points for mice, rats and insects. Designed to allow airflow beneath floors and inside cavity walls, they are naturally open. This perforated aluminium air brick cover fits securely over the external face of the vent, creating a physical barrier that prevents pest access while allowing essential ventilation to continue working as intended. The perforation pattern allows consistent airflow while restricting rodents and insects.

Stuffing vents with mesh might seem like a quick fix, but it can restrict ventilation and contribute to moisture build-up and damp in the areas those air bricks are meant to protect. This cover provides a proper solution. The precision perforations maintain airflow while creating a barrier that rodents and insects cannot penetrate.

The aluminium construction will not rust or corrode in outdoor conditions and withstands constant rain, temperature changes and sunlight. The perforated face allows air to pass through while helping prevent leaves and debris from building up inside the air brick, reducing blockages and helping the ventilation system continue functioning properly.

Installation can be carried out using screws for a permanent fixing, or with a strong exterior adhesive where drilling is not suitable. Fixings are not included, as different wall materials — including brick, render, stone or timber — require different screw types and lengths. The finished result is far cleaner and more professional than visible mesh stuffing, making it suitable for front-facing elevations where appearance matters.
