How Bird Spikes Work
Bird spikes work by making flat or narrow surfaces uncomfortable for birds to land or settle on. On buildings, they are commonly used along ledges, signs and rooflines. On fences and walls, wider plastic spike strips can also help discourage cats and other animals from walking or climbing along the top surface.
