Mastertrap Clothes Moth Traps 2 Refill Pads with 2 Hangers

Clothes moth activity is often spread across multiple areas, particularly where clothing or fabrics are stored separately. Using more than one trap allows activity to be monitored and reduced across wardrobes, cupboards and other storage spaces at the same time.

This complete starter kit includes two pheromone refill pads and two slim hangers, ready to place directly among clothing where moths are naturally active.

Each trap contains a pheromone lure that specifically attracts adult male clothes moths. Once inside, they are caught on the adhesive surface and remain trapped. By removing males from the breeding cycle, the traps help reduce reproduction over time while also providing a clear indication of activity in each area.

For best results, position traps at eye level or higher inside wardrobes, cupboards or storage areas where fabrics are kept undisturbed, including attic spaces, under-stairs storage and rooms with wool carpets or soft furnishings. Avoid placing near open windows, strong airflow or direct sunlight, as these conditions can reduce pheromone effectiveness. If the protective cover sheet is difficult to peel, which can occasionally happen after warm transit, place the pad in the freezer for around five minutes to help it separate cleanly.

Each pad remains active for up to 12 weeks and should be replaced once full or when the lure has expired. The hangers are reusable. When a pad expires, replace it with a fresh refill pad (sold separately) and continue monitoring. While traps help reduce breeding activity, they do not eliminate existing larvae, so they are most effective when used alongside cleaning and treatment of affected items.
