Mastertrap Clothes Moth Trap Pheromone Refill Pads for Monitoring

Clothes moth damage often goes unnoticed until it’s too late. By the time holes appear, activity is usually already established. These pheromone refill pads help stop the problem at its source by attracting and trapping male moths before they can mate, reducing breeding activity over time.

Each pad contains a synthetic female pheromone integrated into the adhesive surface. Male clothes moths are drawn in and trapped on contact, interrupting the life cycle and helping bring activity under control with continued use.

These refill pads can be used both to tackle existing moth activity and as an early warning system in vulnerable areas. A sudden increase in catches is often the first sign of a developing infestation, allowing you to act before serious fabric damage occurs.

This pack contains 10 refill pads, each lasting up to 12 weeks. Replace when the adhesive surface becomes full or after the active period to maintain effectiveness. Compatible with Mastertrap hangers and most standard flat-format moth trap holders (hanger sold separately).

Where to place traps for best results
Place traps at eye level or higher in wardrobes, cupboards, and storage areas where clothing or fabrics are kept undisturbed. Suitable locations include attic spaces, under-stairs storage, and rooms with wool carpets or soft furnishings.

Avoid placing traps near open windows, strong airflow, or direct sunlight, as these conditions can reduce pheromone effectiveness. One trap per area is usually sufficient.

Removing the cover sheet
If the protective cover sheet is difficult to remove, which can occasionally happen after warm transit, place the pad in the freezer for around five minutes to help it separate cleanly.
