Description
Moths flying around your wardrobe or finding small holes in clothing or fabrics? Clothes moths such as the webbing clothes moth and case-bearing clothes moth damage natural fibres like wool, cashmere, silk, and carpets. Female moths lay eggs on fabrics, and when larvae hatch, they feed on the fibres, causing holes and permanent damage.
These paper traps use pheromone glue boards that attract and capture male clothes moths. The pheromone mimics the scent female moths release for mating, drawing males toward the trap where they land on the adhesive surface and become stuck. Removing male moths helps reduce mating and allows you to detect moth activity early.
The traps fold into a compact triangular tent that can sit on wardrobe shelves or hang from wardrobe rails. Their slim design fits easily inside wardrobes, cupboards, and storage areas without taking up valuable space. Each pheromone pad remains effective for up to 12 weeks. The included refill pads allow you to use the traps immediately and keep replacements ready for continued monitoring.
Placement Tips
Hang traps at eye level or higher inside wardrobes, cupboards, loft storage, or other areas where clothing and natural fabrics are stored. Avoid placing traps near open windows, strong airflow, or direct sunlight, as these conditions can weaken the pheromone signal. One trap per room or wardrobe area is usually sufficient, as using too many traps in the same space can dilute the pheromone attraction.
Helpful Tip
If the protective backing strip on the glue board is difficult to peel, which can occasionally happen after warm shipping conditions, place the pad in the freezer for about five minutes to help the backing separate more easily.
